Katie previously studied at West Thames University covering a wide range of industry skills to gain a platform to perfect her advanced expertise. 7 years later Katie has had a wealth of experience working in the industry with a high expectation to strive for perfected client care.

ABOUT KATIE

Katie is an inspirational make-up artist with more than 8 years experience in the industry based in Reading, Berkshire. Specialising in beauty, fashion & theatrical makeup whilst also offering beauty appointments such as microblading, eyebrow lamination & LVL lash lift.

Before turning freelance, Katie spent five years with MAC Cosmetics. She became the youngest Regional Trainer in the UK and watched over the recruitment, development, artistry training and qualification of several hundred MAC Artists in the South West. Whilst working for MAC she also worked backstage across more than eight seasons of Paris and London Fashion Weeks, where she was lucky enough to work with key makeup artists like Val Garland and Terry Barber, for shows including Peter Pilloto, Nico Panda and Garaph Pugh.

Katie’s makeup skills can cater for everyone needs from natural to full glam makeup. Working in the flagship Pro store for Mac Cosmetics where she was involved in a number of pro events completing complex bodypaints. A high point in her career was conducting regular makeup appointments for Brix Smith Start for London Fashion week where she featured on Vogue website.

Although she learnt plenty from those high-pressure experiences, Katie is delighted open her own makeup and beauty business where she can fulfil the best aspect of her career- making people feel the best version of their selves based from her home studio in Reading, Berkshire.
