What to Expect?
Suitable for any ability, makeup lessons are a great way to experiment with a few different looks, learn and gain confidence in how you choose and apply your makeup, and crack any of those tricky steps that never seem to quite go right.
In the makeup lesson we'll work on half of the face each, and explore up to three different looks. I'll coach you through every step of the way, explaining what I'm doing, why I'm doing it, and then when it comes to your turn, walk you through how to replicate that look yourself.

How long does a One-To-One lesson last? 2 hours.
What brand of products are used within my appointment? Primarily Mac Cosmetics as Katie use to work for the brand.
Where do Lesson’s take place? Either in the luxury of your own home or Katie’s place, this is flexible upon each client’s request.
GROUP MAKEUP LESSONS

These sessions are also available to groups. Depending on the size of the group the format may need to be adapted. For example smaller groups, i.e. two people, we can follow a format similar to the original one-to-one sessions, but creating a similar look for both parties, with minor alterations to suit different colourings.
For larger groups, you can pre decide two - three main elements, for example; a perfect skin, simple smokey eye, and nude lip. If you want to learn more after this, you may want to consider booking another one with your group. Within the larger groups, each client will have a part of the makeup demonstrated on them whilst the rest follow suit. Katie will be there to help and support other’s and give guidance along the journey.

One-to-one makeup courses are ideal for aspiring makeup artists of any ability, or anyone looking to improve and become more knowledgeable and skilful over time.
Spread over multiple days, these lesson courses are scheduled around you. You'll get the full range of Katie’s experience as a MAC Trainer, learning a variety of looks and advanced skills throughout.
An in depth call will be arranged prior to your appointment for Katie to understand and discuss your learning style to make these courses personalise to your skill set.
